Instrument Description
The Leica RM 2255 microtome is a completely motorized microtome that can also be utilized as a manual microtome, due to its counterbalance hand wheel system. Main uses are for sectioning paraffin and resin embedded specimens and some non-standard materials. The Leica RM 2255 microtome can be used in a range of laboratory environments such as routine and research settings.
Features include 70mm vertical stroke, precision orientation system, high powered step-motor system and predefined cutting modes.
