Instrument Description
The Microm HM 355 S2 Microtome is a fully automatic microtome. Used for routine as well as intensive sectioning of paraffin, the HM 355 S II microtome includes several features that maximize operation and comfort.
The Microm HM 355 S2 Microtome offers several features of comfort and maximum operation. Comes fully equipped with specimen retraction (which may be turned on or off) and a moveable operating panel for use on the left or right side of the instrument. The touch keypad controls the speed, thickness (from 0.5 to 100 microns) and specific modes. These modes include: manual, motorized, single, interval, multi, and continuous stroke. In addition, the Microm HM 355 S2 Microtome has a vertical stroke of 64 mm and a trimming range from .5-500 um.
