Instrument Description
The Microm HM 505 E Cryostat features a cutting mechanism that incorporates a backlash and maintenance-free precision cross roller bearings that provide precise and smooth cutting movement at any chosen temperature.
Features a disposable blade knifeholder with anti-roll guide that can take either high or low profile blades. The blade can be shifted together with clamping block for better convenience and security.
The hermetically sealed cooling system features a powerful compressor and frost-free cooling chamber that cools down to-35℃. The microtome has specimen retraction on the return stroke for smoother cutting and is combined with a section and trimming thickness setting of 1 to 100µm. Includes trimming mode in 15 defined steps an extended display functions with section counter. Also includes touch pad keyboard programming, and ergonomic positioning of handwheel with safety lock.
