The Tissue Tek VIP 5 tissue processor is designed for fast, streamlined operation which offers easy-to-use software for managing reagents, renaming solutions and programs, and defining cleaning cycles according to your needs.
The Tissue Tek VIP 5 tissue processor features an automated reagent transfer, continuous mixing, and bottle connection check that ensures smooth flawless performance and significantly more efficient processing. Flexibility of programming is evident with the easy addition of cassettes, even during active processing.
Complete information at a glance is provided through full-text display, and reagent management is facilitated with the cassette counter and reagent usage counter features. The unit cleans paraffin by degassing the oven, ensuring sanitized paraffin without the need for additional retort cleaning cycles. The programmable water rinse virtually eliminates alcohol fumes in the retort.
Several built-in computer safeguards monitor all steps of processing to guarantee specimen and system protection.
