Instrument Description
The Thermo HM 325-2 Microtome is an updated version of the original Microm 325. This microtome is remarkably consistent and is used for precise sectioning of tissue encased in paraffin. With the ability to cut sections from a range of 0.5 microns up to 60 microns, the HM 325 provides the user extended ability to cut to desired specification.
Other features of the Thermo HM 325-2 Microtome include manual operation, a section counter, a quick trim button (immediately switches the microtome from 10 microms to 30 microns), and specimen retraction on the return stroke.
