Instrument Description
The Thermo HM 525 Cryostat is on the leading edge of histology instrumentation. The Thermo HM 525 is used for intuitive sectioning of frozen specimens for the mid-to large size clinical laboratories. It is equipped with an exceptionally smooth handwheel and several innovative safety features that make this cryostat one of the best on the market.
Thermo HM 525 Cryostat features a peltier cooling system that reaches up to to -60℃, and a cryo-chamber that cools to -35℃. A stepping motor controls precise cutting and an extra-width anti-roll plate facilitates consistent, artifact-free frozen sections. Also has automatic specimen retraction, and a mechanical handwheel lock that ensures safe chamber access.
