Instrument Description
The Shandon Varistain 24-4 H&E stainer has three memory banks, allowing programming using minutes and seconds for up to three 24-step routines, or up to six 12-step procedures. Stations hold 750 ml troughs which may be filled to 350 ml. Precise programming of station times in minutes and seconds.
The Shandon Varistain 24-4 H&E stainer is designed for single load, double load and continuous throughput. Stains up to 64 slides per basket and has a pass feature which allows you to run two programs while utilizing the same reagents. It is compatible with most automatic coverslippers. The Varistain 24-4 comes complete with 24 staining troughs, 4 wash water troughs, 2 vertical slide carriers (64 position).
